Sweet Ladies:
Who are they, where are they, and why Shakespeare?
Amanda and Ophelia, two inhabitants of a Beckettesque world, establish their identities and relationship by donning the mantles of various characters from Shakespeare. Snapshot glimpses: The Witches; Prospero; Ophelia; Juliet. The vibrant talent of Diana Stewart-Rossiné and Georgina Ridealgh bring all these to light on stage and more. Directed by multi-talented Kit Leonard with original music and updated Shakespearean ballads from the quill of the genius, Charlie Allen.
